Poverty Simulation Workshop

Date:
Saturday, October 8th, 2016 from 10:00am to 1:00pm
Location:
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation | Whidbey Camano Room | 500 Fifth Avenue North | Seattle, WA

What choices would you make if you had little time and little money to spare? Come with an open mind and heart, ready to learn experientially about issues of poverty and homelessness. Leave with ideas for what you can do to fight poverty and homelessness in our community.

This poverty simulation workshop is presented by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Seattle University’s School of Theology & Ministry. You will learn and role-play in the lives of low-income families, explore the impact of poverty on our community, and meet others who care about this issue.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Walk-ins will be accepted as space allows, but you can RSVP to reserve your seat.
